Directions to The Church of Saint Ambrose

*We are conveniently located off Exit 7 of the Northway, near Latham Ford and the Prime Outlets of Latham.

FROM THE NORTHWAY
Exit 7 to Route 9 (Latham, Cohoes.) Right onto Route 9 North to first right onto Route 9R(Columbia Street Extension) Cohoes and first right again onto Old Loudon Road. The church is ¼ mile on the left.

FROM THE THRUWAY WEST
Exit 24 to I-87/Northway. See FROM THE NORTHWAY.

FROM ROUTE 7 WEST OF THE LATHAM CIRCLE
Get off at the Latham Circle on the East side towards Route 2 (Watervliet.) Take first left on to Old Loudon Road and the church is ½ mile down on the right.

FROM THE THRUWAY SOUTH
Exit 23 to 787. Exit to Route 7 West. Exit to Route 9 head for Cohoes on Route 9R. Take the first right on to Old Loudon Road. Drive a ¼ mile to the church on the left.

FROM EAST
Route 7 West. See THRUWAY SOUTH above.

Saturday: 3:00PM or any time by appointment

Marriage:
So that proper preparations may be made, contact one of the priests as soon as the engagement is formalized, or at least six months prior to the date of the marriage.

Baptism:
All Baptisms for Saint Ambrose Parish Famly will be held on the first Sunday of the Month. If you wish to make arrangements for a baptism, please call the Rectory at 518-785-1351.

Please take CAREFUL note of the following information regarding the upcoming Christmas Mass Schedule.NEW YEAR’S MASSES: Below is the Mass Schedule for the Christmas Liturgies

CHRISTMAS EVE & CHRISTMAS DAY

MONDAY DEC. 24 – Christmas Eve –
There will be two (2) vigil Masses at 4:30 p.m. One in the Church and one in the McCormick Parish Center.

There will also be a Christmas Eve Mass at 8:00 p.m.

The 4:30 p.m. Masses are always filled to capacity and fill up early, so we encourage those that can, to consider coming either to the later 8:00 p.m. vigil Mass or attend Mass on Christmas Day when ample seating is available.
*****PLEASE NOTE: THERE IS NO MASS AT 6:30 A.M ON CHRISTMAS EVE DAY*****

TUESDAY DEC. 25 – Christmas Day – we will have three (3) Masses on Christmas Day; 7:30 a.m., 9:00 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. All are welcome and invited to attend our family friendly Christmas Masses.

NEW YEAR’S EVE and NEW YEAR’S DAY
In observance of the Solemnity of Mary, Mother of God, which is a Holy Day of Obligation, as well as World Day of Prayer for Peace, the following Masses will be celebrated:

MONDAY, DEC 31 – New Year’s Eve – One (1) Vigil Mass at 4:30 p.m. (THERE IS NO MASS AT 6:30 A.M.)

TUESDAY, JAN. 1 – New Year’s Day – One (1) Mass at 10:00 a.m. ONLY (NO Mass at 9:00 a.m.)
