Faith Formation

Once children begin school, their need for systematic, more formalized faith formation becomes apparent. Parents play an irreplaceable role in modeling and forming attitudes and values within their children, which orient them toward faith. The parish community is the broader context in which that faith is nourished. This ministry provides instruction in our children in grades K-6. Catechesis for both children and parents for the sacraments of Reconciliation and Eucharist is an is an integral part of this program. Catechists receive training and support to help them effectively transmit the faith.
