Individuals are prepared to proclaim the Word of God with credibility and thus tell our faith story with an appreciation for Scripture.

LIFE TEEN

Ministry to the high school and junior high students of our area. The center of the program is the Life Teen Mass, a Sunday night liturgy celebration by the whole parish community specifically for our teens. We follow the Mass with a meeting called Afterlife that is for high school teens only. Later in the week we meet with the junior high students in a meeting called, "Junior High Life." We have a separate program for those high school students who need to prepare for the sacrament of Confirmation.

• CONFIRMATION CORE TEAM - Our confirmation program consists of a retreat, and large and small group sessions. The CORE team gives teachings, leads small groups, and helps plan what goes on while building loving Christian relationships with the candidates and their sponsors.
• FREEDOM FIGHTERS -- A group composed of teens and adults who are involved with social awareness and social justice issues. They meet monthly.
• JR. HIGH LIFE CORE TEAM - The CORE team builds relationships with junior high school teens, and loves them with the love of Christ. They are responsible for running the Junior High Life meetings.
• LIFE TEEN CORE TEAM - The CORE team builds relationships with high school teens and loves them with the love of Christ. They also run the high school Afterlife meetings as well as help plan what goes on with the Life Teen Mass and other special events.
• LIFE SUPPORT - This ministry helps support LIFE TEEN by providing snacks for both junior high and high school meetings. LIFE SUPPORT is also there to help with transportation, chaperoning, or other needs that may arise throughout the year. Members are on rotating schedule, and may only cover meetings two or three times a semester.

LITURGY MINISTRY

Since the paths to God are many and diverse, this ministry proposes many creative ways of meeting God at the altar of prayer, which in turn enhances liturgical worship. When planning liturgies, consideration is given to the unity of the celebration, the season of the year, the artistic environment of the church, the needs of the congregation, and the ministers of the celebration.
